After Surgery
- It is your responsibility to make advance arrangements for someone to drive you home and remain with you for the first 24 hours after surgery.
- You will receive written instructions for your care that may include activity, medication, diet and rest.
- Plan to be in the recovery area for at least 1 to 2 hours following surgery.
- At your discharge, you will be scheduled for a return appointment with your surgeon in his office.
- Contact your physician if you have any questions or problems after surgery.
